The Children’s Corner is a comfortable place where children and their caregivers can browse and read, attend programs, check out the latest children’s DVDs, and meet up with their neighbors. This area houses the library’s juvenile collection of books, magazines, audios, and DVDs for preschoolers to grades 5 to 6.
The Children’s Corner is designated for ages 0-12 years, accompanied by their caregivers. Teens are invited to use the Teen Central area, and older users are welcome to use the main area of the library. If you are over 12, you are welcome to come in and grab an item, but please use seating and computers in an appropriate section of the library.
The library offers four A.W.E. computers for children’s use. These are Advanced Workstations for Education, providing learning in the form of entertainment. No library card is necessary to use these computers, and they are not Internet connected.
